We will use the camera as our means to see with new eyes.
We will elevate the ordinary and common to something poetic and infused with feeling.
By connecting to the beauty that is all around us, we have the capacity to transform our every day experience to one of wonder and sweetness.
Our afternoon together will be fun and lively and experiential. I will give assignments and creative prompts that allow you to flex your creativity. There will be plenty of guidance toward new ways of seeing as well as technical information such as camera settings, apps for editing, and lighting.
If you are active in social media, being able to see and capture a striking image is increasingly valuable. The stronger your image, the more it conveys and the better your engagement. Be it social reasons or for business, we are in social media for the relationships it fosters.

Seeing is one of my greatest pleasures. I have been brought to tears and to my knees by light, color, texture.
I got my first camera almost 40 years ago. I have had various incarnations as a photographer, but primarily expressed myself as an art photographer. I have shelves of slides and negatives and libraries of digital files. Documenting beauty, capturing a moment in time has been a vital part of my life. I would be thrilled to share what I know with you and open a door to a new world of creative expression.
